“Despite the continuous demands from international organizations, the limitations towards humanitarian organizations working in Venezuela continue. Today, Médicos Sin Froteras (MSF) is withdrawing from a Venezuelan hospital due to the restrictions on access to the country for its personnel,” he expressed through his personal Twitter account.

Doctors Without Borders was helping patients with Covid-19 at the Pérez de León II Hospital in Petare, Caracas. Their collaboration began this March with the rehabilitation of part of the infrastructure and the conditioning of the hospitalization area.

Around 3,500 people were treated for eight months.
