The public services crisis is intensifying rapidly. The lack of domestic (cooking) gas, electricity and water threatens the health of Venezuelans who struggle, day after day, to survive the breakdown produced by Nicolás Maduro’s regime.
Inhabitants of the El Indio sector, located in the Girardot municipality, Aragua State, started the year with even more hardships. They explained that domestic water and gas failures are even worse than in 2020.
In addition, they denounced that they have problems with sewage.
Denia García, a resident of the sector, said that they had gone for more than 6 months without (cooking) gas service, to cook they must resort to firewood or electric stoves when there is power.
“Nothing, the authorities have not said anything.”
María López, a neighbor of the of the locality, reported that small gas cylinders (bottles) are sold for $ 10 or $ 15 and when the service fails they must cook with diesel fuel or wookd.
The lack of basic services has produced health problems for Aragüeños. The respiratory system of those who cook with wood is very affected.
Meanwhile, the regime ignores the citizens and continues to steal the nation’s assets.
